Etude House Skin Mal:gem Toner ( Smoother )

Hey girls! Remember when I first posted about my hauls including this toner? I think that was about 4~5 months ago and I started using it right away back then and now I think I'm ready to share my opinions about this product. Let's go! :)
There are actually 5 variants to choose from including Fresh (for normal skin), Moist (for dry skin), Deep Moist (for extra dry skin, probably XD), Essential (this one is a moisturizer) and my choice, Smoother. I chose this cause I myself has a few bumps on my face that I'd like to clear out and the SA said that this one is perfect for those. Yes, I trusted her on that one :D

Some Korean stuff (probably instructions and descriptions) are written at the side of the box.
Let's see, based on the tiny pictures, it says that there are 3 ways of using this product.
One is  by using a face cloth;  Two by using it with a mask sheet and three, by using it as a mist.
Of course, I prefer to use it with a cotton ball or a little face cloth. But you still get to decide on how you wanna apply this toner :D

Pros:
  • It has a heavenly scent! I just love that light, refreshing scent ♥
  • Very light on the skin. It's obviously designed for sensitive skin like mine. Yay!
  • Contains 250 ml of product! I've been using this for 5 months now and look, it's still more than 50% full :D
  • Chic packaging. Simple yet elegant.
  • It reduced my blackheads and smoothened out some parts of my face. Although, I still need to find a better moisturizer to compliment this toner. I can't wait to see the significant improvements that it will give me once I finish using up the whole bottle :)
Cons
  • None :D The price itse;f os quite reasonable for the benefits you get by using this product.

Etude House: Precious Mineral Sun BB Cream Review

Finally! I managed to find time to write a review :D Okay I'm very excited to tell you all about this product so let's start now!♪
Etude House: Precious Mineral Sun BB Cream
Cool Fix SPF50+/PA+++
Whitening & Anti-Wrinkle
Anti-Darkening
Long Lasting Waterproof
Shade: #1 Light Beige

Well then, I think that product description gives you a hint on how good this BB Cream is but let me elaborate anyway.
I bought this last November (almost 3 months now) and this is my first BB cream.

Directions are written at the side of the box. There are actually 2 ways on how to apply this BB.

1. Sponge Application: Dispense cream and use sponge to gather and apply coverage to all areas of the face.

As you can see, it comes with a sponge applicator. I find it difficult t use this sponge. It's not the softest sponge around as well so I just decided to ditch using it XD

2. Direct Application: Remove cap and dispense onto hands for direct and additional application

Now THIS is the way I do it. Lol. Dispensing the cream at the back of my hand and applying it directly using my fingers gives me better control on the amount I want to use. Of course that's just me though. You can choose your own way of applying it as long as you don't overapply :)
Well that was repetitively redundant.. HAHA.

Now for the semi-comprehensive review:

Size: Very small! I was surprised when I saw this at EH store because it looked quite tall in pictures but in reality, it's like 3.5/4 of my palm :-/ The bottle contains 35 g of the product. Quite a little amount for it's price.

Shade: It comes in two shades: #1 Light Beige and #2 Medium Beige. You already know the reason why I chose the lightest shade--- because I'm as white as a ghost!
Nah, just kidding. But I AM pale. :O This shade is still dark for me though, and thanks to the "whitening" properties of this BB, it becomes darker on me overtime. Lol. Not that I mind though, I appreciate anything that gives me colour :)

Scent: The scent is typical. I smell a lot of sunscreen imo. Probably because of the high SPF. This BB cream isn't meant to be used during nighttime. I myself, only uses this during days when I know that I'll be out for long hours. DAYS.

Lasting Power: Well there's no need to ask that. As the description says "Long Lasting", it really does last for many hours! Last time I checked it stayed on my face for 10 hours. Now that's something :D I also noticed that as it lasts on the face, it becomes lighter and lighter and that is another plus for me cause it starts to match my skin tone :)
Water Test:

Since this Sun BB is meant to be used for sports/outdoor activities and claims to be "water proof", let's put that claim to a test :D

As you can see the water didn't spread at the back of my hand. Instead, it went down as droplets and didn't ruin the BB at all. Well, that goes to show that this Sun BB is truly water proof :D

Latter Effects:

Well after months of using it, I did notice some of my blemishes lightened and my face! Ahh my face definitely lightened and my bare face looks really pale now (-_-) This is a con for me but I'm sure most of you will enjoy the whitening effects better. Haha :)

Here's a photo of me around 7 hours after applying the Sun BB. It has begun to set and matched my skin tone. Trust me aside from the backlight and cropping, I didn't tweak this photo at all. Some of my blemishes are still visible, you see. I used natural light here and that is how PALE white I look with the BB on.
But it's not so bad, you can always use a blush to prevent the "ghost" look. As for me, well I'm not such a fan of blushes. Probably because I don't know how to apply them. Lol!

Panda Tip: If for some extremely awkward reason and you're gonna wear this BB at night, you might wanna avoid flash photography as this BB contains high SPF and will surely produce that dreaded white cast/bounce on your face making you look like a ghost.

 Pros:
  •  Long lasting
  • Water proof but nothing like a good facial foam can't remove
  • Easy to apply
  • Whitening Effects!
  • Chic packaging
  • For a product with only 35g, it really lasts you long
  • You'll get all those benefits I blabbed about in this loooong post at a very reasonable price XD
  • It's from Etude House! ♥
Cons:
  • The only thing I can probably complain about is that the shade doesn't suit me. I need a lighter shade. I hope they modify the shades. Don't you just feel my pain? lol. Other than that, no cons :D

Okay that's it! Thanks for reading til here. Sorry I talked too much Haha -_-
Btw, did you know that Revlon recently released 2 (or was it 3?) lipstick lines? And I was lucky enough to get ahold of one of them which is..
Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede in Muse! ♥
Ahhh! Colorstay means it will last for loong hours and you know how much I love that right? :)
Let's see how this one fares.

Til here. Bye girls! :D
For those who haven't done so , do follow me on twitter! I also follow back so just mention me :) http://twitter.com/crstaldagger/

My Satchel Story! :D

Okay, I don't really have a "story" to tell BUT I have been itching to get a satchel for months now! Not only because they're very trendy nowadays but also because I really need a bag that will be able to carry my laptop without it looking like it's carrying a laptop. I hope I made my point there. Lol! and other school stuffs (Being a university student can literally be a pain, if you know what I mean..)

So I was at Jelly Bean (ジェリービーンズ / Jelly Bean Store in Japan) last night when I spotted this cute pink satchel. Ahh, my soft spot for pink has yet again kicked in ♥
See, it has a really nice pink shade. Not so candy pink but just the right light pink look and the golden buckles compliment it well :D
I was originally planning to get a bright yellow satchel from LIZ LISA but it was too small and too decorative for my taste so I went with this instead. It's just the right size; not too big, not too small :)
There are two spaces where you can put your stuffs and the inside of this satchel is quite roomy too. I think I can put more stuffs here other than my laptop :D
Oh yeah, I have two Blackberry smartphones now. I got the new one as a gift. Yay! XD
It's embedded with the brand name just to make sure that it's not fake. It can be an import but definitely authentic♡ Imported products are a bit expensive though. Ugh.

By the way, guess what else I just bought? Another lipstick! Gaaahhh I can't get enough of Revlon. Srsly! Someone help me! Haha. But this will be the last one, I swear XD It just so happened that I managed to save extra money these past weeks.

Anyways, what I have is yet again, another Lip Balm Stain. This time, the shade is in Lovesick Passionee. Haha. That is soooo me XD
Along with this, I got a Revlon Mirror as an award for being a loyal customer at Revlon's. Lol! Just kidding. But, yeah. I have the same one as my sister's.
Lovesick Passionee has a darker shade if compared to my Cherish Devotion. I haven't tried it yet but I'll tell you all about it once I have :)

(It's not that visible cause of the light but I'm wearing a stained and slightly faded Cherish Devotion here)
So that's it! I gotta go back to studying now. There's only 2 days left before Christmas. My, how time flies..

Chapped Lips No More! Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm Review

Christmas is just around the corner and you know what that means right? Yes, you guessed it, the cold season or simply, winter!
I for one, love the cold season. Cold season = Good sleep. Lol! But I hate what it does to my lips! Because of the cold weather, our lips often become dry or chapped and we can't have that right? So to restore my lips back to their usual softness, I got myself this:

Maybelline's Baby Lips Lip Balm in Anti Oxidant Berry

Product Claim :

Instant 8H Moisture
Shed away rough dryness for supple, smooth and cushioned lips all day long.
In one week rejuvenated lips
It’s Proven: Centella Essence increases cell turnover to literally transform your lips:
  • fine lines reduced
  • elasticity increased
  • suppleness increased

My Take:
Pros:
  • moisturizes lips well
  • has SPF 20
  • contains 4 grams of balm that will last you for a good 2~3 months
  • awesome scent! ♥
  • very and i mean VERY affordable :D
  • packaging is perky and adorbs! ♥
Cons:
  • still leaves a white film especially after eating

Okay sorry for the bad resolution. Dunno why but my camera's been ditching me for the past who-knows-how-many-months-have-passed. Lol! I'm gonna get a new one soon.

Let me just add that the sole purpose of this balm is to moisturize therefore, it doesn't have any tint which means you can use it under your lipstick! Well, atleast that's what I do anyway :)

Here are the other variants:
  • Relieving Menthol
  • Energizing Orange
  • Smoothing Cherry
  • Anti Oxidant Berry
I'm planning to get the Smoothing Cherry next but I would also like to try Etude House's Kissful Lip Care. I heard it's good too and doesn't leave any white film on your lips.

So there you have it. Just a short review for this morning. Bye now! :)

Revlon and Etude House Swatches/ Mom's gift/ New pics

Hello loves How is your week so far?
Mine has been soo soo soo not good. Aside from not being able to sleep well last night (thanks brain..and Starbucks!), I've been in such a bad mood all week because I can't watch Paranormal 4. Tss.

Anyways, my mood isn't getting any better but my lips sure are :)
Last night, I was at the mall with my sister and she pushed me into buying this.
Revlon: Just Bitten Kissable Lip Balm Stain

I got the 015 Cherish Devotion shade simply because it's pink it's so pretty. She also owns one which is the Smitten.
I was hesitant to get this at first 'cause it says "lip balm" and I was afraid that it won't give my lips the color I want but upon swatching (and trying on my sister's), I was amazed that it's not just your typical lip balm. It is, actually a cross over between a lip balm and a lipstick :)
So here are the swatches I made. I compared it to Etude House's Dear My Blooming Lipstick.
I wasn't able to take a picture when they were still newly applied (I was at the mall, duh.)
This was taken when I got home, about 3 hours after application. You can see that Etude's  Pk002 already faded (Aw, sucks. I applied 3 layers of this while only 1 on Revlon's) I wanted to buy that lipstick at first because of the cute packaging and color but seeing that it doesn't really last you for long, I change my mind.

Another thing is that Revlon has a healthy shine to it since it's also a balm.\

Water Test
This is kinda crazy. I dunno if it's still visible here but you can click on the photo to see it clearly.
I took this shot after I got out of the shower. I used my usual bath soap but I didn't scrub my hand that hard cause I wanted to test the water resistance of these lipsticks. And Revlon stayed! while Etude's already gone with the water. Lol.
Overall, qualitywise, Revlon's (lipstick) is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a fan of Etude House, just not their lipstick.

Anyways, more on lipsticks. (I know I'm beginning to sound like a makeup junkie, but no worries, I swear I am not one XD)
My mom gave me this last week, or is it last last week?

MAC Lipstick and Lipgloss in 07 ♥
It's also in pink and comes with a lipgloss. 可愛いよね?( *`ω´)

So that's it! I have to start doing my paper works now. Ahh, my prof is such a slave driver (-__-)
Excuse the messy hair, I was gonna fix it to get ready for school but I ended up camwhoring instead. Without my glasses! Lol.
Uhh, maybe I should stop trying to wear concealer under my eyes. My eyebags disappeared after I stopped wearing contact lenses. Yay!
I wasn't wearing any lipstick here btw.

E.L.F Studio Powder Brush Review

Hey♪
This week's first review is all about a brush that I'm very glad to have. E.L.F's Studio Powder Brush! :)
By the way, E.L.F stands for Eyes.Lips.Face ♥

So let's start!

Product Claims:
This Taklon brush can be used with wet or dry products. Be a professional makeup artist and create flawless look with this e.l.f studio brush!
  • Creates a professional sculpted look
  • Full coverage color
  • Use with powder or blush for perfect contouring
Directions:
Dip the brush into powder and the tap off excess. Start near the hairline and work inward as to not over apply the color.

This brush is made of synthetic hair and works well with liquid foundations.
So I guess most people use this on their makeup/foundations but since I don't do that, I only use this when I want to apply a thin layer of my powder.

The brush itself is quite tall! Taller that my PSP. Lol. But I love it coz it really looks professional :)

I also love the black motif of the brush. I love black. Très jolie

I have a sensitive skin so I don't like using brushes on my face but I've seen a lot of raves about how soft this brush is that's why I chose this and I wasn't wrong! This is extremely soft and I'm 100% positive that it won't irritate my skin at all :) ス・テ・キヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ

I use this with the powder pact I got from The FaceShop. I don't like how the puff gives me too much product than I actually want. Yes, that's how picky I am when it comes to applying powder. I only want a thin layer of it on my face. I still use the puff when I need to reapply powder during midday but I'm very careful with the amount I put. Lol.

Care Instructions
The packaging also comes with the proper care instructions for the brush so here's what's written:
  • Cleanse regularly with the e.l.f Studio Daily Brush Cleanser and e.l.f Studio Brush Shampoo to maintain perfect color application and to increase the longevity of your brush. Absorb excess moisture with a towel, reshape hair and lay flat to dry.
You can lay it on a towel and leave it overnight and it'll be dry when you wake up. Or if you washed it during the day, it takes about 6 hours for it to completely become dry :)
And again, since mine doesn't come in contact with actual "makeup products", I don't need any special cleanser for it. In fact I just use mild baby soap to clean it. Haha :D
One tip though, try not to dip the whole brush in the water as it might damage the handle.

Here's a photo taken this morning. The hair's completely dry and it's back to its shape :)
I've washed this for like 4~5 times already and I'm happy to say that I have not encountered any bleeding or shedding at all. Yay!

Pros:
  • no shedding or bleeding!
  • super soooft! (>_<)
  • looks very chic and professional :)
  • the handle is quite sturdy
  • amazing product and it's very affordable too!
  • picks up the right amount of powder
Cons:
  • no cons here :)
Overall, this is a must have for every girl's makeup stash especially those who use makeup. But for those who don't, I'm sure you can find a use for this brush like what I did :)

では!

Etude House: 『Latest』 Surprise Essence Concealer

Okay, since I don't have classes 'til tonight, I'm gonna take this time to give you a quick review on Etude House's Surprise Essence Concealer! ♥

I was lucky to snag this at their store 'cause this is actually a newer and improved version of their former Surprise Essence Concealer :)
ラッキー☆〜(ゝ。∂)
So I bought shade no. 1 which is the lightest and fits my skin so well. The shade is lighter than their BB cream shades so maybe that's why..

See? XD They improved the packaging and I think they also improved the applicator.
I heard that the old version had a scent but this new one doesn't have a scent at all! (which is just great :D I have no idea why concealers should be scented. Lol. )

I can't tell you much about the ingredients. There is something written behind the container but I can't read Hangul soooo... moving on XD

Swatches:

I won't show you girls lots of photos on applying this concealer on different parts of my face anymore (lol) I think this swatch can also tell you about how well this product performed its job at concealing my green vein. Truly, a little amount goes a long way :)

Applicator: It comes with a doe tip applicator that's slightly different than lip gloss/other concealer's applicator. This one gets just the right amount of the product :)

Shades: Comes in two shades.

  • Light Beige : Recommended for extra fair people.
  • Natural Beige : For those who have a natural, not so dark and not too fair complexion.

Coverage: It has a medium to heavy coverage which I think is buildable.  Be careful not to put on TOO much coz just like many other concealers, it might cake on you. But that's only if you put on too much so no worries :)

Scent: No scent at all! so it doesn't irritate sensitive skin ♥

Pros:
  • unscented! ♥
  • This one actually hit me with its shade. Light beige is just perfect for me. And from here on, my quest in finding the perfect shade in concealers, have officially ended. Lol!
  • does its job at concealing dark under eyes, blemishes and red spots.
  • easy to blend.
  • affordable! たった600円だよ!♪ / about 300 Php :)
  • cute packaging, as always :)
Cons:
  • can't think of any 'cause they already enhanced it :D
Repurchase: Uhh, honestly, I don't know. This is a great product and I don't have anything against this but since I only use quite a little amount, it's probably gonna take me a long time (if not forever XD) to use it all up before I can repurchase it.

That's it~ Just a quick review on this lovely product. It's still early so I'll just go and browse my notes. I'm supposed to have an exam today! XD
じゃね!( *`ω´)/

Etude House: I need you Pearl Extract Mask Sheet

Hellooooooo ♥
ああ・・最近ストレスばかりじゃん(@_@)
One way to relax after a tiring and stressful day is applying a mask!

Today's review is all about Etude House's Pearl Extract Mask Sheet.
I bought this last Friday with my bestfriend and she was also shocked when I told her the result and forced me to make a review about it. Which is why you're reading this right now. Haha :D

This is the first mask that I've tried from this brand..Oh, wait, this is actually my first mask sheet and a korean product to boot! Lol.

Almost everything's in Hangul. Mi no comprende (O_O)

Luckily, there's a bit of English translation right below the packaging so here's what's written:

Description: Essence mask that contains pearl extract that promotes natural skin glow.  Tension fit design for improved facial adhesion and comfort.

I'm already quite fair so I think what I'm after here is the "glow" it promises and of course, the relaxing feel :)

Directions:
  • Apply mask sheet on a cleansed face and leave for 20~30 minutes.
  • Remove mask and massage remaining solution with hands.
  • Recommended interval for mask application is every 2~3 days for maximum efficacy.

Did any of you notice how some of the English instructions on korean products have grammatical errors? Lol.

Scent: The scent reminded me of some moisturizing cream. Not too overpowering. It's very mild, mind you.

So I left the mask on my face for 30 minutes while playing a game on my PSP (quite relaxing, I tell you)
変な顔( *`ω´) ~笑

And here's the unedited result:

As I've already said, I already have a fair, even close to a "snow white" skin (I used to get teased  lot during middle school for this) so there is not much I can say about the "whitening" claims.
BUT, I did notice that my face was glowing when I removed the mask!
It was really amazing considering I left it on my face for only 30 minutes and didn't even bother to apply the essence right after.

I even washed my face after removing the mask cause I was so afraid of the paraben it might contain but it turns out that this product is void of paraben. Yay!

Pros:
  • gives brighter and glowing complexion
  • reduces redness on skin
  • mildly scented
  • cute packaging ♥
  • very affordable! for only ¥150/ less than Php80/ and less than $2!
Cons:
  • tends to get a bit sticky for me.. or maybe that's just cause I didn't wait for my skin to fully absorb it. Lol! Talk about excited? :)

My Opinion: I was really happy with this mask because of the instantly visible brightening and glowing effect it gave my skin. ほぉ~気持ちよかったぁ♪
Will definitely repurchase this again after I've tried their "It's Real" masks line.

Had my bangs cut today! Idk why it doesn't look straight in this pic tho O.O まーいいかw
Ahhh, I have sad eyes in this picture. I dunno what happened (>_<)

'til here. じゃ、またね!\(^o^)/

EH Hauls and Update

Ahh, I haven't blogged in a while! Remember when I said I needed my inspiration to blog? Turns out it took me a couple of months to finally get it and I'm back! :)

So today, I'll only be posting my latest hauls I bought from Etude House!
Okay, so I got the powder pact from The FaceShop :)
Anyways, I'll be making a review on the BB cream a couple of months from now since I just bought it and it's kinda chilly where I'm from right now. (It's a Sun BB. I know right? It's not even summer and yet I already bought it. I'm just really stubborn. I coudn't resist Lol. )

Oh look, I got this cutesy dog coin bank at a donki shop!
Okay, see you soon ladies. Bye! ♥

Game Update:  I'm playing Arc the Lad Collection again. Currently, I'm on Arc the Lad 2 and what can I say... ouka raibaku zen! XD

Latest Pics, Sweet Naildeco and Day Planner ♥

にゃん!♪
Just got back from a twitter/blog/online break. I tried to do something which only put me in danger but thankfully, I'm still in one piece. Lol!
Life's very weird huh. You never know what happens.
Anyway, enough with the crap XD I'm here to post about my nail deco this week.
I went simple yet cute this time. Just pink tips and more glitter top. You can even see my wedding ring if you look closely ♥ Lol
I actually planned to do panda design for this week but since A LOT has happened last week, I'll just save the pandas on some other time :)

Oh, and meet my dayplanner! With my husband's photo while he was singing during our outing. I really love that photo of his :D This dayplanner also serves as my "offline twitter". Lol!

So that's it! I'm gonna leave you with my two-faced photo coz I really don't know how to feel. I'm so young yet I've gone through a lot already but I'm still trying my best to stay strong. I'm sure some of you also has that kind of moment, so there's only one advice I can give. Never give up.

New Decoden Project and Today's Nail Deco♔

Yay! Finally got time to open my laptop :)
So yeah, I've been sick and at the same time, busy with a lot of things lately so this came in late. But I finished my second decoden project! :D
Here it is.
This is one of my old phones that I don't use anymore but it's still functioning. I finished this like two days ago and I can certainly say that this one is the cleanest decoden I've done so far :D
And oh, since I really love pink, I also deco-ed my nails! Lol.

I used baby pink nail polish and topped them glitter nail polish and finally the top coat. The glitters aren't so obvious in the shots as much as they really are though (-.-) And I used some of my decoden stones too ☆

And there you go. Hope you like my designs. I actually have a really cool design in mind right now but let's save that 'til my next post. Bye for now! ( *`ω´)/

☆Decoden Project and more Pandas!☆

Hello girls♡  Long time no post.
Well, the reason for my absence is that I've been terribly sick for the last month and also, I need inspiration to blog! Lol.
So I'm here to post about my new or should I say first decoden project! Yay :)
I've actually done decoden before but that was when I was still young so this time, I took it to a whole new level with my Blackberry phone. Since BB phones are black, I find it kinda boring and it's back cover always gets scratches so I thought it would be best to deco it and make it look.. well... less boring :)

(sorry for the filter, I took these photos from my instagram)

So here I have bought some decoden supplies. I especially chose pink and almost anything light pink coz I don't like pastel colors.

And here's the finished product! Well, I was still thinking of adding some gems at the side but that can wait :)
So watcha think? Will it pass? :)
I'm also coming up with some more decoden projects. So watch out for those :)

I also met up with my bestfriend yesterday and look at all the cute panda stuffs she gave me! I am one happy panda collector :D

Til here loves! Jyane! ( *`ω´)

LUNAR

Hello again♪
Ahh, I haven't been feeling any better lately. My fever just keeps on coming back :-/
So that means, I haven't been going out too. No fashion posts for now.
But I do have something else to talk about. I've just started a new (well not so new, cause it's an old one) game
recently. I got this game for quite some time now but haven't been playing it cause I think it's so retro. Lol. So yesterday, I tried it and found it to be very interesting despite the graphics and drawings.

Honestly, I myself can't tell how this game is gonna impress me. I kinda have a hunch that I'm gonna get tired of it halfway through the ending. But I'll try my best to finish it since Geki gave it to me ♥ 笑
Anyhow, I'll find out soon :)

Oh, and about my post 2 months ago on Persona 3, I really loved the game. Though I found it too easy. Maybe because I reached level 90 before finishing it. Lol. Haven't played the female version yet. I'm gonna wait for my memories to lie low a little before starting it again. :)
